In recognition of his commitment and accountability in public service, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has inducted Akinwumi Ricketts, chairman and Board of Directors, Nigerian Ports Authority, as a fellow of the institute.
Ricketts who was one of the 79 newly inducted Fellows of NIPR tasks Nigerians on the need to be hardworking, committed and accountable while rendering services.
Speaking during the inauguration and induction of Fellows at the 2022 Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Annual General Meeting held in Abuja, Ricketts said nothing beats the feelings when one reach the highest echelon of whatever Organisation an individual is involved in.
“What excites me more is when I see my colleagues who are present here too. It makes me so happy and feel that I am in the right kind of place where best practitioners are assembled”.
He enjoined potential fellows and Nigerians to always do the right thing wherever they found themselves, workhard and be accountable.
