The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has provided free Medical care to patients with Sickle Cell anemia as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
The free medical care, according to the NPA, was to mark the 2022 World Sickle Cell Day.
“The Sickle Cell Clinic, inaugurated in 1988, has examined up to 6,000 patients in its 30+ years of history excluding staff,” the NPA said in its tweet on its official Twitter handle @nigerianports.
It added that it has been providing free Medical care for patients with Sickle Cell anemia for over 30 years.
