The Governing Board of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has approved the promotion of 510 staff and officers of the agency.
Bashir Jamoh, the director-general of the NIMASA, disclosed this on Monday on his Twitter handle @JamohBashir.
He said about 110 of the promoted staff are on management levels while 400 are non-management level employees.
“I am happy to announce that the Governing Board of NIMASA has just approved the promotion of 510 staff and officers of the agency, comprising 110 management-level and 400 non-management-level employees,” he said in the tweet.
While congratulating the promoted staff, he urged them to see their elevation as motivation to higher performance.
