Determined to strengthen infrastructural growth and drive economic activities within Lagos communities, Zylus Homes has commissioned the 2,425-meter Eleranigbe Road in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
According to the company, the road project is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to ease transportation, boost economic activities, and enhance accessibility within the Eleranigbe community.
The commissioning ceremony, which coincided with the official launch of Lekki Avana Phase II, was graced by dignitaries, traditional rulers, government officials, and stakeholders from across the real estate industry.
Speaking at the event, Oluwatosin Olatujoye, Group chief executive officer of Zylus Homes said that the project reflects the company’s philosophy of not only building homes but also investing in infrastructure that supports sustainable community living.
“We understand that roads are lifelines to communities. By delivering this 2,425-meter road, we are opening up Eleranigbe to better opportunities for commerce, ease of movement, and long-term growth,” he said.
Bukola Olatujoye, chief executive officer of Zylus Homes, described the road commissioning as a testament to the company’s values of trust, impact, and shared prosperity. She emphasised that Zylus Homes is committed to ensuring that its projects go beyond housing to include social and infrastructural impact that will benefit generations to come.
“By delivering the 2,425-meter Eleranigbe Road, Zylus Homes has demonstrated that its vision goes beyond property development. This CSR milestone underscores the company’s broader mission to build thriving communities where families can live, businesses can grow, and infrastructure supports sustainable development,” Olatujoye added.
On his part, Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government applauded Zylus Homes for its strategic intervention in the infrastructural development of the area.
Olowa noted that the Eleranigbe Road will not only improve connectivity but also increase the socio-economic viability of the community and attract more investments to Ibeju-Lekki.
The road project was officially commissioned by Wasiu Olasunkanmi Rasak, alongside other dignitaries who lauded Zylus Homes for its foresight and dedication to improving the lives of residents in the host community.
The event was also attended by key government officials, including representatives from the Lagos State Ministry of Housing and the New Towns Development Authority (NTDA), who collectively acknowledged the project as a strong example of how the private sector can complement the government’s efforts in addressing infrastructural challenges.
