Determined to deepen its commitment to sustainable mobility and Nigerian automotive innovation, Dana Motors Limited, has showcased its latest Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Electric Vehicles (EVs) at the just-concluded Abuja Motor Fair 2025.
The brand drew significant attention as it unveiled an impressive lineup of its latest electric and CNG-powered vehicles, including the locally assembled EV9, EV5, MPVs, and Mini EVs. Attendees were thrilled by the vehicles’ modern features, advanced technology, and remarkable green efficiency—further emphasizing KIA’s dedication to cleaner, future-ready transportation for Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Omolade Akinyode, marketing manager, said the company has highlighted its 80 percent local content strategy and ongoing efforts to deepen Nigeria’s automotive value chain.
According to Akinyode through its expanding vehicle assembly operations, KIA continues to drive job creation, technical capacity development, and skills transfer for EV production in Nigeria.
“Dana Motors remains committed to supporting national policies on green transportation and accelerating Nigeria’s transition to affordable, efficient, and eco-friendly mobility,” Akinyode said.
Kingsley Udeh, Minister of Science and Technology, represented Kashim Shettima, Vice President, while Emma Eneukwu, Chairman, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Kayode Egbetokun, the Inspector General of Police, and a host of other top dignitaries were on hand to grace the event.
The turnout underscored the government’s strong support for the development of Nigeria’s automotive sector, especially in cleaner energy mobility solutions.
